Brela stretches quietly beneath the slopes of Biokovo, with a long chain of pebble beaches, pine trees and clear Adriatic water defining its coastline. Rather than a single busy centre, the town unfolds along the sea, making its waterfront promenade part of the experience itself.

Its best-known natural symbol is the Brela Stone, a small rock rising from the sea with pine trees growing improbably from its surface. Nearby Punta Rata combines pale pebbles, deep natural shade and views towards the mountains and islands.

Brela is ideal for travellers who want a slower coastal pause. A short stop can mean coffee by the water and a walk along the promenade; a longer one gives time for the beach and the scenery around Punta Rata.
