Why visit

A glass walkway 1,228 metres above sea level, projecting beyond the cliffs of Biokovo above the Makarska Riviera.

Skywalk Biokovo changes the perspective of the Makarska Riviera completely. Located at Ravna Vlaška, 1,228 metres above sea level, the horseshoe-shaped glass platform extends beyond the edge of the mountain, opening wide views towards the Adriatic, the islands and the rugged limestone of Biokovo itself.

Reaching it is part of the experience. The Biokovo road climbs from the coastal side of the mountain through a very different landscape from the beaches below. Weather and visibility can change quickly at this altitude, and access is controlled according to the operating conditions of Biokovo Nature Park.

The Skywalk is therefore best treated as a planned mountain experience rather than a spontaneous roadside stop. Park admission and access arrangements are separate from a SOVA transfer, and the available time should account for the mountain road as well as the visit itself.
